Darian Richardson, one of four principal owners of Promotion Execution Partners (PEP), has recently been appointed to the Minority Business Advisory Board (MBAB) of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky African American Chamber.

The board focuses and advises on key issues affecting minority businesses in the area as well as provides guidance used to plan and deliver services to minority business members. Consisting of a group of key business leaders representing minority owned businesses in the region, the board also demonstrates how other Chambers can be receptive to the distinctive needs of minority business members.

“My objective for joining the MBAB is to contribute to the mission of the chamber by assisting in linking minority business with opportunities within Greater Cincinnati and beyond,” Richardson said. “As minority business owners we face unique challenges and, therefore, assembling a group of key business leaders to address concerns is critical to our overall success. I am very excited to be a part of the MBAB and look forward to future success.”

Membership on the board will provide opportunities for sharing good business sense, Richardson said. “There is already a wealth of knowledge and business expertise on the board and I look forward to incorporating and applying key learnings from this group into my own organization as well as sharing that same insight from what we at PEP have learned.” Richardson said.

Richardson, as PEP Sales Manager, oversees new business development initiatives to continue growing PEP’s customer base. He holds a master’s degree in business from Central Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Grand Valley State University. Richardson, 31, resides in downtown Cincinnati.
