Promotion Execution Partners garners two awards in one week

November 5, 2008 - Cincinnati

Promotion Execution Partners (PEP) is proving that it is a marketing and promotions industry leader, winning recognition twice in one week.

Procter & Gamble awarded PEP a “Supplier Excellence Award” – ranking PEP among the top 8 of its 15,000 marketing partners around the globe. The announcement was made at P&G’s first-ever Supplier Summit Oct. 15 and 16 in downtown Cincinnati where it hosted its top 350 suppliers out of 80,000 worldwide from design to manufacturing.

“P&G’s recognition is a testament to PEP’s commitment to delivering promotions on time and on budget for the dozens of P&G brands for which it has provided project management services during the last four years,” PEP President Dave Kroeger said.

“We were recognized as one of the top 8 suppliers out of 15,000 from around the globe that serve P&G’s marketing team,” Kroeger said. “This award combined with our recent Heinz Pyramid Builder Award and our two Addy Awards received by our creative team demonstrates that our clients look at us as a valuable marketing partner respected for our people, process and passion.”

P&G’s award was based upon, among other criteria, PEP scores on a recently completed survey of its day-to-day P&G contacts. PEP received high scores in all four categories evaluated, which were commercial value, innovation, relationship building and operational excellence.

Ben Seinen, PEP Account Director, said the achievement would not have been possible without “the outstanding team we have assembled to work on this account and having a client like P&G that is willing to be open about both their challenges and their strategic objectives, allowing us to operate with crystal clear focus.”

Last Thursday, the Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky African American Chamber of Commerce recognized PEP as the “2008 Small Business of the Year” during its 8th annual Business-to-Business Expo in downtown Cincinnati.

“This is an award we feel strongly about as a certified minority business enterprise,” PEP Co-owner and Sales Manager Darian Richardson said. “We are excited to be a part of what the chamber stands for – a commitment to diversity and community.”

Richardson serves on the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce & African-American Chamber of Commerce Minority Business Engagement Advisory Board.

The criteria for the designation included: sound business strategy and practices, business growth and performance, employee programs, community involvement and contributions, demonstrated commitment to supplier diversity, and support of the African-American business community.
