PEP Wins Prestigious Award from SCOMSDC

Promotion Execution Partners (PEP) was recognized as Minority Business of the Year at the South Central Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council’s (SCOMSDC) annual awards gala Friday night at the Hyatt Regency downtown Cincinnati.

The awards gala recognizes and honors the growth and success of the SCOMSDC’s Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Member Organizations through several awards: Corporation of the Year, MBE Emerging Business, and MBE of the Year broken into four classes based on annual sales. PEP was one of seven companies nominated in its class for MBE of the Year. Winning this award is one of the most prestigious distinctions a company can receive from the SCOMSDC.

With a theme of "Celebrate, Elevate, Sustain: Paving the Pathway to Success," the gala was led by master of ceremony Clyde Gray of Channel 9 News and joined by Keynote Speaker J. Phillip Holloman, President and COO of Cintas Corporation. Some of the corporate sponsors in attendance were Macy’s, Procter & Gamble, Johnson Controls Inc., Toyota, The Health Alliance, and US Bank.

The mission of the SCOMSDC is to create an environment for the development of mutually beneficial relationships and opportunities between certified minority-owned businesses and member organizations. PEP has valued and supported that mission since its founding, PEP Co-Owner and Sales Manager, Darian Richardson said.
